Hove Gardens, Ellen Street, Hove – Approval

ADL are pleased to have been part of the team that assisted Kenny Oke, Clare Droog and Jamie Rogerson of Watkin Jones Group in obtaining planning consent for the proposals at Hove Gardens, which would bring about a much-needed regeneration of a brownfield site adjacent to Hove Railway Station.

The scheme comprises 216 new Build to Rent homes, over 2,000 sqm of commercial offices, a new community centre, generous internal and external amenity space, and a significant public realm and highway improvements around the site.

ADL Team led by Amol Pisal worked on behalf of our Client Watkin Jones, providing layout input, pedestrian and cycle audit, vehicle tracking, parking stress survey, followed by the preparation of Transport Assessment. Further to this, during the planning application, Amol carried out an extensive discussion with Brighton & Hove City Council culminating in Highways Approval.

Amol worked very closely with the design team which comprised of Tom Resch of Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher (CJCT) (Architects), Oliver Milne of Savills (Planning Consultants) and Angus Marrison of AJM Landscaping Architects.
